Rice Pudding with Fruits

Συστατικά
- 1 liter water
- 100 g glutinous rice
- 650 g full-fat milk
- 120 g honey
- Zest of 1 orange
- 40 g cornstarch
- 1 vanilla powder (or 1 tsp vanilla extract)
For the Topping
- 4 strawberries
- ½ red apple
- ½ pear
For Serving
- Honey
- Cinnamon
Παρασκευή
- Place a pot over medium heat, add the water, and bring it to a boil.
- Add the rice and cook for 20-25 minutes until tender.
- Remove the pot from the heat, drain the rice, and set it aside.
- Return the pot to the stove, add ⅔ of the milk, the honey, and the orange zest. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- In a bowl, combine the cornstarch with the remaining milk and whisk until the cornstarch dissolves.
- Add the cornstarch mixture and the cooked rice to the pot. Stir with a spoon until it boils and thickens.
- Remove from heat, add the vanilla, and mix well.
- Divide the rice pudding into 6 bowls and let them cool completely.
Σύνθεση
- Wash and chop the strawberries, apple, and pear into small pieces. Distribute the fruit evenly over the rice pudding bowls.
- Drizzle with honey, sprinkle with cinnamon, and serve.
