Sorbet all year round
Ice cream is a favourite for most children. Make this home-made version, without fat and based at the purest ingredients, fruits and honey!
Of course, summer fruits provide better results both in flavour and colour.
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh or frozen fruit, chopped (do not combine more than two fruits)
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 egg whites
Preparation
- Mix thoroughly the fruits, honey and lemon juice until pureed
- Put the mixture in an oblong cake tin with greaseproof paper on the base and on the sides.
- Put the cake tin in the freezer and allow to freeze for 2-3 hours.
- Beat the egg whites in a bowl. Pour into the bowl and beat the mixture with a hand mixer until light and swell.
- Divide in bowls with lids and put them again in the freezer for another 2-3 hours.
