Quick pizza on pitta bread
This meal can be an ideal and quick option for an afternoon snack or even a meal.
You can add any flavour you and your child prefer.
Ingredients
- 2 pitta breads, wholegrain
- 1 cup home-made tomato sauce
- 4 slices of melting cheese (Gouda or mozzarella or Kaseri)
- Vegetables of your choice
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 160° Celsius.
- Place the pies on a greaseproof paper and in a baking pan.
- Spread tomato sauce
- Cut in pieces and place 2 slices of cheese on each pitta bread
- Add chopped vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, courgettes, etc.
