Understanding between parents - a steady course in raising children
Act together; it is important for the child not to be treated differently by each parent.
A big mistake fathers make is being excessively permissive or excessively strict.
In their efforts to rid themselves of their guilt for being absent, fathers can deviate from the straight course of upbringing and become either excessively permissive (believing that if they indulge all their children's fancies they will secure their love), or excessively strict (in an attempt to protect children from various risks).
There must be an understanding between both parents, stability in their views and balance in their behaviour.
